Welcome to Cliffedale Primary School

On behalf of the children, staff and governors, I would like to welcome you to Cliffedale Primary School. We are a happy school with excellent relationships between pupils, staff, parents and governors based on mutual respect and kindness. We are all very proud of our school and we have high expectations of ourselves and of all our children. We celebrate and reward all our successes and work hard to overcome any barriers that we may face along the way in our collective learning journeys. We are an active learning community where positive approaches to learning and improvement sit at the heart of everything we do.

As a school, we are passionate about developing all the children in our care. We strive to provide a learning environment that enables children to thrive in all curriculum areas, within a safe, supportive and caring family setting. Our values and curriculum drivers are built around our mission to ensure that all children become confident communicators, resilient learners, community champions and aspirational citizens. We are determined that all children acquire knowledge as set out in our subject overviews and develop key skills for life, so they are ready for each transition point and are successful in their lives.
