Be the best that you can be
Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
We would like to thank all of our parents who took the time to respond to our parent survey. We are very pleased and extremely proud with the responses and are especially grateful for all of the lovely positive comments that have been made. There are over 10 pages of positivity to share with you in the presentation of our survey results and our staff are very happy with this! We do of course recognise that we can always do better and we will be working on the suggested improvement areas as a collective staff in the upcoming weeks and months as we strive to be the best that we can be. Do please take the time to read through the presentation slides.
Kind regards
David Johnson
Headteacher
Please see the attached posters about online games which your children may be mentioning and wanting to access. The posters highlight the risks involved with these games as well as showing the age rating. We hope you find this information useful. If you need any further information please don't hesitate to contact our E-Safety Officer - Mr Murphy.
All of the children at Cliffedale attended school wearing Yellow or other bright colours to show our support for World Mental Health Day. We wore bright colours to show that mental health is not a topic to be embarrassed about and that we are here to support. We have collected £186 so far just on the gates this morning! If you would like to donate please follow the Just Giving link or donate via the school office.
We are holding our Open Days for families who have children starting school in September 2024. Please see our attached leaflet.
Thank you to all the parents and carers who attended parents evening over the last 2 days. It was great to welcome you all the school again. A special thank you to everyone who completed our quick feedback task telling us what we are doing well and what we can improve on. This was very much appreciated and the staff loved reading your comments. We will be looking through your suggestions for what we can do better and seeing if there is any we can get started with. Watch this space!
Good Luck to any of the Cliffedale Children who are sitting the 11+ this morning! We have got our fingers crossed for you.
Well done to the Year 6 children who spent the afternoon at Kings Court Care Home playing board games with the residents. It was lovely to see both the children and the residents thoroughly enjoying themselves and having many giggles! Well done, you are all Community Champions displaying our core values.
Please bring your unwanted clothing/shoes etc to school bagged up for a collection by Bag2School on Tuesday 28th June. The Children's Council are organising this collection to raise additional monies for the School Fund.
Thank you to all those parents who donated to our final bake sale this academic year - the children raised £203!
