Notes from the Eco-Committee Meeting (February 2022)
We discussed the findings of our eco-review (you can find this above) and identified the areas that are weakest at Cliffedale.
From these we have picked 3 to focus on and wrote our Action Plan.
We are going to work on Waste, Transport and Litter. For more information look at our Action Plan.
We are also looking into other eco-friendly campaigns that link to our focuses.
Notes from the Eco Committee Meeting (December 2021)
We met in the small hall and discussed our Eco-Review.
Each class has been given one focus to complete and will need it done in time for the meeting in January.
All of the meet the Eco-Members forms have been returned to Miss Yeomans and she will organise where these are going next.
If you have any amazing eco-ideas please tell your eco-representatives. There are two in each class.
Notes from the Eco-Committee Meeting (09.11.2021)
We met in the area outside reception to met our new Eco-Committee.
It was lovely to see everyone that could make it and we discussed our new jobs.
Dipti agreed to be our note taker for the meeting and did wonderfully.
We agreed it was a good idea to create Eco-Committee Member posters for our classrooms and these were handed out. It was agreed that they should be completed and returned to Miss Yeomans by Monday 15th November (though some of us were keen to hand them in the next day!)
We also discussed who would be representing EYFS from the Year 5/6 children, again these children were very excited for their new job!
Finally, we agreed to have our next meeting before the Christmas holidays.
Well done Eco-Committee for a super meeting and I cant wait for the next one.
Eco-Committee Meeting!
Well done to all of the members who managed to join a teams meeting on their own for our first ever online meeting!
The eco-committee met and discussed lots of new ideas for making Cliffedale and the world more Eco-friendly!
I am very proud of all of the eco-committee for completing our eco-review!
In the new year we will be creating our action plan and making some eco-changes around school!
Have a merry christmas and well done Eco-Committee!
