Michelle Bailey

I have been a parent governor since January 2024. I decided to become a governor as I wanted to ‘give something back’.

My background is in financial services, namely compliance. The skills I have learned can be transferred to the school environment in lots of ways. I am currently a member of the Finance Committee, and I oversee an annual review of the school's website. I have a keen interest in Phonics and the Arts.

In my spare time I love to be creative and work with flowers and resin. I spend a lot of time outdoors with my family and baking with my son. I really enjoy studying and developing my knowledge, most notable doing a Postgraduate Certificate in Autism. Being a Governor has also given me access to lots of study opportunities.

I am proud to be a governor of the school as I know we all work hard to ensure that the school is achieving its visions, aims and objectives with the children and safeguarding at its core.
