Nathan Whales

I have lived in Grantham for over two decades and am proud to be part of the Cliffedale Governing Body. I am married with three daughters, and we also share our house with our much-loved dog named Alfie.

I have taught at The King's School for 23 years and currently hold the position of Assistant Headteacher & Head of Sixth Form. My core values centre on raising aspirations, supporting academic excellence, and preparing students for life beyond school. I am especially passionate about enhancing opportunities for young people and building stronger connections between education, alumni, and the wider business world.

I am extremely motivated to support and strengthen the Cliffedale community, ensuring that every child has the chance to thrive.
