Leaving School during the School Day

In accordance with our Attendance Policy, medical and dental appointments should be made outside of school hours, but if this is not possible then please send confirmation of the appointment to the School Office.

Children are not permitted to leave school during the day unless accompanied by a parent/carer, and they will be signed out at the School Office on leaving, and signed in again upon their return.

If a child leaves the school site without permission, their parents/carers will be contacted.  Should the school be unable to make contact with the family it may be appropriate, in certain circumstances, to contact the Police and register the child as a missing person.
