HI!

Week 5 work pack is below!

I've been in work this week, it was very strange not being in my own classroom with all of you. Hopefully we will be soon!

Sun is due out again...BBQ time!!

Have fun in the sun!

Home Learning Pack

Week 4!

The sun is out today, we've had the paddling pool in the garden this morning!

I hope you're all celebrating VE day in style, I went out on my bike this morning and actually cycled through Manthorpe estate, I saw lots of bunting and flags everywhere!

The website we use for our PE curriculum have put together some resources that are linked to the Tokyo Olympics if you want to do some PE. The link is below:

Also, as expected, I have added the next lot of work for home. Hopefully by next week we'll have a better idea of what is going to happen...if anything!

Stay safe, enjoy the sunshine while it is still around!

Week 4 w/c 11.5.2020

Hello everyone!

So, week 3 coming up...

Out of boredom (and laziness) I'm growing a beard. I'm going to keep it going until we're back at school. Mrs Murphy, and Theo do not approve! Theo keeps saying my chin is scratchy! They'll just have to put up with it for now. I'll not grace you with a picture just yet, I'll try and catch Mr Pirie up first!

I've made more cookies, the same as the ones in the video but this time I added cocoa, they were even nicer than last time.

I hope you're finding the work packs each week useful. Like I've said, they aren't intended to be all completed. They aren't intended to be the only thing you use, Twinkl is still free, Classroom Secrets is still there. BBC bitesize have loads of new resources recently and https://www.thenational.academy/ have loads of great lessons on too. Keep getting exercise, keep getting fresh air when you can. Learn something new, stay safe, wash your hands and soon enough all of this will blow over and we will be back to school soon! The end is nigh...Hopefully!

See you all soon, keep sending anything you're doing to the Home Learning email address, even if it's just a message, it would be great to hear from you.

Mr Murphy.

PS. It's VE day next week (8th May). We would have studied this in our World War Two topic before all of this, so we've also got some resources for that if you'd like to have a look. You could make some bunting, do a newspaper report, make a Powerpoint presentation.

Week 3 Home work pack

Week beginning 27th April

Hi again!

Week 2 of resources are attached below, the same applies to this week as last week. There are more resources than necessary with a range of difficulties, the intention is not to do them all. Answers have been given where possible! We've also set you a challenge which is explained below. As it states, we did this as homework the last time we did the topic you would have been doing if we were in school, which is Sustainability. We did a fashion show too! It would be great to see your creations and ideas.

I'm enjoying the emails of people's work and tasks your doing at home, keep them coming! I've been in school this week looking after the key worker children. It was strange and quiet. Hopefully it will be full up soon enough!

Hope everyone is safe and well,

Mr Murphy.
